Last days in the studio

This week, we’ve been working hard with Sigrun in the hot studio before turning the furnace off. Huh!   Beautiful glasses by Sigrun O. Einarsdottir and Soren Larsen, Gler i Bergvik.

More snow

NO Global Tour

Santiago Sierra’s exhibition has just opened in Reykjavik art museum Hafnarhus. I went to see the film screening of NO, Global Tour by Santiago Sierra at Cinema Paradise.

Melting and filling

Melting glass and filling the furnace. We are ready for the busy week when a group of Sigrun’s students  from Myndlistaskólinn í Reykjavík is arriving to Gler i Bergvik.

Back to work

Christmas has been cleaned away from the studio and the endless shooting of fire works (icelandic people…) has finally ended. Time to start working for Sigrun again!
