E!: t.a.l.k.s by Katarina Zdjelar
Art in public space,
language as a tool,
art and travel
As a part of Paraphrasing Babel, video and audio art event in public space, Katarina Zdjelar came to ABKM to share the stories behind her work.
Born in Belgrade, in Serbia (what a coincidence when thinking of my next trip!), she has been living in Rotterdam in Netherlands quite a while now. She grew up in Yugoslavia, in the middle of its breakdown and political transition, and she has been interested in language and identity ever since. Also she seems to see herself as a citizen of the world instead of using a geographical definition.
